01 · DataWhat we collect
We collect two kinds of data, both anonymous unless you choose to give us your email address:
- Page-view and interaction events. Which pages you visit, how long you spend on them, what you click, and whether you played an audio guide. Used to understand which guides are useful and where the site is confusing.
- Anonymous device + session attributes. Browser, operating system, screen size, country (derived from IP — we don't store the IP itself), and a randomly generated session ID that lets us see whether the same visit looked at one page or twelve.
- Email address — only if you ask us to.If you subscribe to the Friday digest or request a counselor callback, we store the email address you give us. If you don't submit a form, we never see your email.
We don't collect: passwords (we have no login), payment information (we don't sell anything), or content you type into form fields you don't submit.
03 · VendorsWho else sees this data
We use two analytics vendors. Both are configured to minimize data collection and never receive personal information:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Receives page-view and event data. We have IP anonymization on by default and advertising features disabled. Data is retained for 14 months and then deleted. Google's privacy policy.
- PostHog (PostHog Inc., US-hosted). Receives page-view and event data, plus session recordings with every text input and form field masked— we can see anonymous mouse and scroll behavior, but never the text you type. Data retention is 30 days for recordings, 13 months for events. PostHog's privacy policy.
- Vercel (Vercel Inc.) hosts the site and receives standard server-access logs (IP, user-agent, URL). These are kept for 30 days and used only for security and abuse prevention.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) sends our Friday digest emails. They store the email address you give us, no other personal data.
We never sell or rent your data, and we don't share it with advertisers, data brokers, or social-media platforms.
04 · RetentionHow long we keep it
- Analytics events: 13–14 months.
- Session recordings: 30 days.
- Subscriber email addresses: until you unsubscribe.
- Counselor-callback requests: kept until you ask us to delete them (so we can refer back to a conversation if you reach out again).
- Server access logs: 30 days.
05 · RightsYour choices

- Delete your data.If you've subscribed or submitted a counselor request and want your record removed, email roshan@qoollege.com and we'll delete it within seven days.
